It comes from the heart.

Which is why we use the heart symbol.

ReliaRide has been making new, lifelong friends for 20 years. Friends are people you can rely on and trust to be there when you need us most. That’s why our drivers have all been trained to provide transportation for kids with autism.

Our transportation services are designed to provide children with a safe, supportive, and understanding environment. We recognize that every child has unique needs, and our compassionate team is committed to ensuring each child feels comfortable, cared for, and secure throughout their journey. Whenever possible, we will pair children with the same driver consistently to help build trust, familiarity, and a greater sense of comfort and security.

Trained for autism awareness and safety.

Every ReliaRide driver is trained to properly transport kids with autism using carriers, booster seats, and other restraint systems. Each driver is trained and overseen by our staff members who possess the national Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) certification. We work extensively with multiple ABA therapy schools, the Department of Job and Family Services, and insurance programs to provide hundreds of rides each month for assisted families.

ReliaRide qualifies as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) for which kids with autism may be eligible for Medicaid reimbursement as specialized transportation. (For additional information on allocating specialized transportation to Medicaid, refer to pages 100-103 of the 2023 Comprehensive Guide to Medicaid Services and Administrative Claiming.)
